The International Institute of Costs (IIC) was founded on November 27, 1987, in the city of Paraná, Province of Entre Rios, Argentina. Since then, it coordinates and promotes international meetings, seminars and conferences on costs and economic-financial management of companies and public bodies.
It collaborates with the associations and universities that comprise it, promoting research, teaching and the professional application of costs, seeking international financing for projects and activities related to the objectives of the Institute, understood in the broadest sense of the formulation, implementation and control of the company’s strategic process. It is also in charge of promoting and organizing international plans for continuous training, guaranteeing the quality of teaching costs and degrees in Accounting for Management, as well as analyzing the methodological adequacy of its corresponding software.

We are a non-profit civil association. We work to stimulate the advancement of knowledge, as well as its dissemination in the area of costs, management accounting, managerial accounting and other disciplines that aim to study and analyze costs in different economic activities, with a view to providing information Useful for decisions that enable efficient strategic, tactical and operational management, both in for-profit and non-profit organizations and in the private and public spheres.

COMMITTEE FOR THE GENERATION OF NEW INSTITUTES
The “incubator” of new institutions arises statutory in subsection n) of article 2, “Promote the creation of institutes with the same objectives at the national level.” The immediate objective for the year 2020 is the incorporation of Ecuador to the IIC, for this the members of the team will begin to work with a group of professionals in this country to promote the creation of its National Institute.

This Commission has been created in tune with paragraphs i), j) and o) of article 2 of the IIC Statute. Encourage the holding of seminars, meetings, trainings or other scientific or academic meetings, with regional, international or transnational scope. Implement curricular articulations that allow granting the IIC endorsement to Graduate Studies Careers developed by its Member Institutes, setting the necessary conditions for their obtaining.
